Partners and Speakers

Huibers

Huibers has been supplying Vogelsang with insulation materials and wires for many years. The family-owned company in the Netherlands has many years of experience in the development and application of modern insulation systems for electrical machines and has assisted Vogelsang, among other things, in selecting suitable insulation systems and optimizing impregnation and curing processes.

In his presentation, Martijn Stauthamer explains the advantages and technical specifications of a new wire for winding motors that are driven by inverters. Unlike the well-known “green” wires, which are very difficult to obtain on the market, this wire offers improved availability, technically comparable performance in terms of corona resistance, and a lower price.

WAY

WEG is known as one of the world's largest manufacturers of electric motors and other components for drive technology and power distribution, with plants around the globe.

Vogelsang collaborates with WEG both in the area of electric motor service and in the distribution of WEG products.
The company offers end-to-end solutions—from engineering to the finished product—for a wide variety of drive technology applications.

The speaker, Lukas Saporito, is the Service Manager at WEG Germany. He will discuss sensor technology, visualization, analysis options, and tools in factory automation.

Flygt/XYLEM

Flygt invented the submersible motor pump and has been part of the XYLEM Group since 2011.

As a global leader in efficient and sustainable water technology, XYLEM offers a unique product portfolio for innovative system solutions related to the water cycle.

The partnership between Vogelsang and XYLEM dates back to the coal mining era in the Ruhr region and today encompasses both services and the distribution of products for wastewater treatment.

In his article, Christian Heßelmans, Regional Sales Manager at XYLEM, discusses innovations in machinery technology for wastewater treatment.

Pelzer Machine Factory

Pelzer Fans, based in Dortmund, has been a familiar name to many Vogelsang customers for years and is known for high-quality solutions for specialized fans and applications. Since Vogelsang acquired the Pelzer brand in 2025, the development and manufacturing of these fans have continued at the Bochum site with the support of Pelzer Engineering.

The focus is on custom solutions and the reproduction of special fans.

Speakers Peter Broer and Mohamed Boughrara describe how a customer’s technical requirement is transformed into a finished Pelzer product—from design and engineering through to manufacturing. The main goal of this presentation is to identify and avoid pitfalls and errors in the design process.

Vogelsang Electric Motors

Vogelsang has more than 100 years of experience in the repair of electrical machines. A particular focus is on the maintenance and modernization of direct-current machines, which are still in reliable service at numerous industrial facilities.

Dirk Knappertsbusch, head of the test facilities at Vogelsang Elektromotoren, demonstrates how conclusions about problems and peculiarities in motor operation can be drawn from the machine’s operation and, in particular, by evaluating the commutator’s operating characteristics and condition. The commutator serves as an indicator of the condition of a DC motor.
